An invitation to “Zero Waste” against waste on World Food Day

Kademe A.S. On World Food Day, we invite you to the “Zero Waste” project, which covers the prevention of waste, the more efficient use of resources, the prevention or minimization of waste generation, and the collection and recycling of waste separately at the source if it occurs.

On World Food Day, Kademe A.Ş. invites the “Zero Waste” project, which covers the prevention of waste, the more efficient use of resources, the prevention or minimization of waste formation, and the separate collection and recovery of waste at the source if it occurs. Kademe A.Ş., which took action against waste in our country in 2019, continues its efforts to reduce waste with domestic and national resources. With the technology produced in the study initiated by Kademe A.Ş. together with Yön Cleaning company, it brings food wastes to the economy by converting them into compost, which is a nutritious, enriching and water-retaining feature of the soil. “Preventing food waste is an indispensable part of a sustainable life” Muhammet Fatih Albayrak, Member of the Board of Directors of Kademe A.Ş., who invited to the “Zero Waste” project on the occasion of World Food Day, which is celebrated on October 16 every year, pointed out that waste foods and foods are not wasted thanks to composting machines. Pointing out that many institutions and organizations have received a “Zero Waste” certificate by using composting machines, Albayrak said: “Every year, tons of food goes to waste in hotels, mass dining areas and restaurants. We also started our work for the transformation of biodegradable wastes in nature into the economy. We are planning what more we can do by focusing on this area as quickly as the first day. We continue to tirelessly explain the importance of compost and the Zero Waste Project to many target groups, especially municipalities and hotels. Thanks to these machines that we produce with domestic facilities, especially municipalities develop an efficient solid waste management system and at the end of about 4 weeks, food wastes are transformed into organic soil nutritious products and can be used as fertilizer.” “It is possible to recycle 92 percent of the wastes produced at home” Pointing out that environmental pollution and waste are largely prevented with this sensitivity and transformation, Albayrak said: “With the use of composting machines, 92 percent of the wastes produced at home and 98 percent of the market place wastes can be recovered. This device is used in recycling by many institutions and organizations, especially municipalities, hotels, catering and agricultural companies, within the scope of the Zero Waste Project of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. The products of Kademe reduce the conversion process of biological wastes, which take place in nature for an average of 40 days, to 15 days. In this way, waste is transformed into economic value. Among the most important expense items of the municipalities are landscaping, garbage collection and pest control as a result of biological wastes. Thanks to this device, the cost of the biggest expense items is reduced and municipalities generate wealth from garbage.” Erkan Kozak, Kademe A.Ş. Composting Machine and Zero Waste Project Manager, gave the following information: “We have ensured that the Kademe Composting Machine enables the process of transforming food wastes into compost, which takes 6 months when left alone, to work faster with the addition of microorganisms in a short time such as 15 days. We have composting machines that respond to needs in different capacities. Method 400, 200 and 100 series machines are industrial type and convert 3 tons to 12 tons of food waste into compost per month. Our composting machines are machines that meet the needs of municipalities, agricultural companies and all institutions and workplaces with dining halls that collect the wastes of pre-dinner and market places.”
